Crime news report for the period from 27 to 31 May
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 163 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 27 to May 31, 12 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 39 cases of causing bodily harm, 38 cases of theft of personal property, 17 cases of fraud, 9 cases of drug detection, 7 cases of domestic violence, 5 cases of intentional damage to property, 4 cases of illegal felling of trees and battery, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism and death threats, 2 cases of robbery, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, kidnapping, robbery, burglary, squandering or embezzlement, tax evasion, cybercrime, jailbreak, poaching, abuse of office, official forgery or official negligence , detection of cold weapons, forgery of documents, participation in a group that is a carrier of a criminal subculture, or involvement in it., sexual violence and falsification of vehicle license plates.
2 missing persons have been detected, 14 wanted persons have been detained, 13 others turned themselves in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of causing bodily injuries and personal theft, 1 case of attempted murder, abduction, hooliganism and intentional damage to property have been detected.
Over the past 4 days, 40 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 61 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
