According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 59 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 6 to May 7, 1 of which was an earlier committed crime.
In particular, 18 cases of personal theft, 9 cases of causing bodily harm, 8 cases of battery, 5 cases of fraud, 4 cases of document forgery, 2 cases of burglary, hooliganism, bribery and abuse of office, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, kidnapping, robbery, tax evasion, sexual assault and death threats.
5 wanted persons have been detained, 5 others turned themselves in to the Police.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 1 case of personal theft has been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 7 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 13 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
