The criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 11- 12)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 53 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 11 to March 12.
In particular, 10 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 6 cases of fraud, 5 cases of battery, 3 cases of drug detection, 2 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement and abuse of official authority, 1 case of abduction, robbery, burglary, official negligence or official forgery, torture, forgery of documents, drug smuggling, death threats and sexual coercion.
3 wanted persons have been detected, another one turned himself into the Police, 1 missing person has been found, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries, theft of personal property and 1 case of burglary have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 12 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 14 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
