According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 101 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 17 to August 18, 8 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 27 cases of personal theft, 22 cases of fraud, 10 cases of drug detection, 6 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 5 cases of causing bodily harm, squandering or embezzlement and domestic violence, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of battery, 1 case of theft of state or public property, car theft, deliberate damage to property, bribery, abuse of office, committing sexual acts, threats and participation in the criminal subculture or involvement in it.
1 missing person has been located, 7 wanted persons have been detained, 13 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of personal theft, 1 case of causing bodily harm, theft of state or public property and burglary have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 12 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 23 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
