Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (18.05.2016-19.05.2016)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, all the 5 cases of infliction of bodily injuries and 1 case of banditry registered in the territory of the Republic from May 18 to May 19, as well as 8 cases of theft, 10 cases of swindling, 4 cases of tax evasion, 1 case of cybercrime and 1 case of robbery, 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries and 3 cases of theft have been solved.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of attempted murder, 1 case of robbery, 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries and 3 cases of theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day 13 road traffic accidents were registered in the republic: 2 persons died, 22 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
