Crime news daily report

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 125 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 18 to August 19, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 37 cases of carrying cold weapons, 15 cases of fraud, 14 cases of personal theft, 12 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 11 cases of causing bodily harm, 5 cases of drug detection, 4 cases illegal felling of trees, 2 cases of burglary, counterfeiting, abuse of office, violence against a representative of authorities, domestic violence and damage to land, 1 case of robbery, deliberate damage to property, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, official forgery or official negligence, Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, outrageous treatment of dead bodies or burial places, forgery of documents, use or sale of forged documents, illegal crossing of the State border and forgery, sale or use of forged documents, stamps, seals, letter-heads, vehicle license plates.
9 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of personal theft, 1 case of causing bodily harm have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 16 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 27 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
