Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 21 – June 22)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 33 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 21 to June 22.
In particular, 8 cases of swindling and 8 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 6 cases of theft of personal property, 5 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 5 cases of swindling, 2 cases of hooliganism and 1 cases of abuse of official power, 1 case of tax evasion and 1 case odd detection of narcotics.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of personal property and 1 case of swindling have been detected, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 12 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 24 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
