So-called "thief in law" Andranik S. arrested: another disclosure by Police
As a result of successive actions carried out by employees of the General Department of Criminal Police, another case of leading a group bearing a criminal subculture by persons occupying the highest position in the criminal hierarchy, as well as participation of various people in such groups, was solved.
As a result of the professional and operational actions of the criminal investigation officers, it turned out that in July one citizen had stolen goods worth 4 million AMD from another citizen, and a member of a criminal group controlled by a "crime boss" called the first one to him and began to clarify with him the issue of returning the stolen goods. Thief-in-law Andranik S. learned about this story, who on his own behalf ordered the "crime boss" to stop having such conversations, subject to further resolution of the problem on his part. After that, the "crime boss" released the person who committed the theft, about which the "thief in law" was aware.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was opened in the General Department of Criminal Police which was sent to the Investigative Committee. 52-year-old Andranik S. has been arrested.
An active fight against the criminal subculture is one of the main activities of Police activities. In order to eradicate such manifestations in the public consciousness, employees of the relevant divisions of the General Department of Criminal Police carry out various activities on a daily basis, the results of which we have repeatedly covered. The case of disclosure of such a crime, registered today, is another success of the active struggle of Police in eradicating such a vicious phenomenon as leading a group bearing a criminal subculture by persons occupying the highest position in the criminal hierarchy, as well as participation of various people in such groups.
