Vladimir Gasparyan introduces the newly appointed Head of the Passports and Visas Department and then familiarizes himself with the course of construction works in Davtashen unit of Police troops (VIDEO and PHOTOS)
On Thursday June 12 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan introduced newly appointed Head of the Passports and Visas Department of the RA Police, Police Colonel Misha Sardaryan to the PVD staff.
Vladimir Gasparyan spoke about great importance of personnel changes in the context of ongoing police reforms and stated that despite obvious positive shifts, there are still certain shortcomings in the PVD activities: from improper appearance of employees to corruption risks. Vladimir Gasparyan expressed his determination to carry out a consistent struggle against any vicious phenomenon.
Head of the RA Police outlined the purpose and necessity of these structural changes which, to his deep conviction, will improve labour and executive discipline and deepen interaction with citizens to be able to solve their problems.
The Police Chief assured that the introduction of this multistage executive system aims to reduce corruption risks.
By the end of the meeting Vladimir Gasparyan once more reminded the PVD staff about the fundamental principles of the work of law enforcement officials and outlined the basic aspects of performance of their official duties and service to society.

Later the same day, Vladimir Gasparyan visited Davtashen unit of Police troops which is currently under construction. The Police Chief familiarized himself with the construction works and made the rounds of offices, training and exhibition halls.
