Not regaining consciousness, man dies in hospital after a knife fight in Nor Nork, Yerevan

At 21:40 on February 8 Nor Nork police division received a report on a 30-40 years old stabbed man’s hospitalization who was diagnosed with “penetrating abdominal wounds, stab wound of back chest wall”. The man had been taken to hospital from Nor Nork 5-th block, in a drunken state.
According to the doctor, the stabbed man was in no condition to give evidence.
At 09:40 on February 9 he deceased in hospital, not regaining consciousness.
The victim was soon identified - Armenian citizen Vardan Manukyan, DOB 1978.
Thanks to the operational search measures taken by officers of Yerevan city Department and Nor Nork police division, it was soon established that V. Manukyan was stabbed by Aksel N., DOB 1976, during a quarrel started between them about 20:15 on February 8 at the intersection of Mikoyan and Galshoyan streets, Yerevan. 
The murder suspect was detained at 12:30 on the same day.
In connection with V. Manukyan's murder a criminal case has been initiated under the Republic of Armenia Criminal code, article 112, part 1.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
