After 16 years on the run wanted deserter detained

On Wednesday, December 2 at 9:40 p.m. Edmond V., DOB 1976, was taken to «Zvartnots» airport Line division of the RA Police after arriving in Yerevan from the city of Moscow. The man had been wanted by Military Police of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 362, part 1 /desertion/ since September 14, 1999.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The initiator of the intelligence has been notified of Edmond V.'s detection.
