Canadian citizen, 41-year-old native of Armenia, wanted for willful evasion from supporting his child fails to flee to Paris

On Tuesday, September 6 at 8:40 a.m. Canadian citizen, 41-year-old native of Armenia, Vahan Manukyan (DOB 1975) was detained at Yerevan's «Zvartnots» airport by officers of the «Zvartnots» airport Line division after the registration of the Yerevan-Paris flight passengers. The detainee had been wanted by Malatia division of Police of the Republic of Armenia charged under the Armenian Criminal Code, article 173 /willful evasion from supporting one's child by the parent/ since Augusut 18, 2016.
The initiator of the intelligence has been notified of Vahan Manukyan's detection .
