Man Wanted by Iran Interpol Detained at the "Zvartnots" Airport
Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by the criminal detectives of the Zvartnots airport's line department, on November 13, after the arrival of the Istanbul-Yerevan flight, 31-year-old Abolfazl A., a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was found at the airport. He was detained and brought to the line department. Abolfazl A. had been wanted by the Interpol in the Islamic Republic of Iran since February 6, 2020, on charges of theft.
Arrest has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The NCB of Interpol in Armenia, as well as the Prosecutor's Office have been notified of Abolfazl A.’s detection.
