The police of the Republic of Armenia promulgate the voters’ list: the final number of registered voters is 816475

03.05.2013 12:52 Elections
The police of the Republic of Armenia promulgate the voters’ list: the final number of registered voters is 816475
In compliance with section 2 of article 11 of the RA Electoral Code, the police of the Republic of Armenia put Yerevan city voters’ list on the internet (the voters’ list, as well as the list of polling stations are put in the section VOTERS’ LIST of the www.police.am website with downloading opportunity).
The final number of the voters is 816475, of which about 3000 citizens are individuals who don’t hold citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, but have the right to vote.
Those who don’t hold citizenship of the Republic of Armenia weren’t granted the right to vote during the RA presidential elections.
During the presidential elections which took place on February 18, 2013, the number of Yerevan city voters totaled 813502, of which 810925 voters were included in the main lists, and 2577 voters were on the additional lists.
Thus, the number of voters, holding citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, hasn’t grown, on the contrary, as compared with the number of voters, promulgated on March 26, 2013, it has even decreased by 1339.
