Fatal road accident on Yerevan-Sevan highway

At 21:30 on September 18 Police received a report from an unidentified citizen informing that a man’s body was found on the 31-st km of Yerevan-Sevan highway.
It was established later that the man deceased immediately after he was run down by the driver of an unidentified automobile about 21:00 on the same day.
The circumstances of the incident are being looked into.
The Police investigation division initiated a criminal proceeding under article 242, section 2 and article 244 of the RA Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
