On charges of organization of mass riots

Garegin Chugaszyan has been detained in Yerevan's Atenki street thanks to operational-investigative measures taken jointly by officers from National Security Service and Police of the Republic of Armenia. The 57-year-old man had been wanted under the RA Criminal code, article 225, part 1 (Organization of mass disorders) since July, 2016.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
