"Volkswagen" driver turns himself in to the Police after committing a fatal hit-and-run accident on Aparan-Ashtarak road

On Saturday, March 28 about 19:55 pedestrian Mkhitar Hakobyan, DOB 1982, was killed on the 5th km of Aparan-Ashtarak road after being hit by an unidentified driver.  
A 36-year-old man turned himself in at Ashtarak Traffic police station at 9 p.m. that same day. The man pled guilty to having caused the above-mentioned RTA while being at the wheel of a "Volkswagen Vento" car.  
Investigation is underway.
