Man wanted in Switzerland surrenders to Armenian police

As a result of the explanatory work carried out by the employees of the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the RA Police, 50-year-old Grigor A., who had been wanted by Swiss law enforcement agencies on charges of Articles 139 (Theft) and 146 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Switzerland, turned himself in to the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the RA Police on August 24 at 10.45 am.

Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
