US fugitive detained in Jrashen village, Armenia
As a result of joint measures taken by employees of the General Department of Criminal Police and employees of the Criminal Investigation unit of Artashat division of the RA Police, on Tuesday, August 17, 42-year-old David T. was found in one of the houses in Jrashen villages of Ararat region and from there taken to Artashat division of the RA Police. The man had been wanted by the law enforcement agencies of the US states of Pennsylvania and Maryland on charges of multiple articles.
The NCB of Interpol in Armenia and the prosecutor's office have been notified of David T’s detection.
David T. has been arrested.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
