Police officers solve the murder committed on Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway

As earlier reported, at 15:30 on January 8 Gugark police division received a car crash report from Lori Provincial Department of the RA Police. The accident occurred on Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway.
Police taskforce group found a “Peugeot” model automobile after arriving at the mentioned address. As a result of the vehicle inspection Mher Grigoryan’s, DOB 1977, body was found on the driver’s seat of the car, with "stab and cut wounds to chest and left leg".
Police initiated criminal case under the Republic of Armenia Criminal code, article 104, part 1.
On January 9, thanks to the operational investigation measures and investigatory actions taken by police officers of Lori provincial Department, Lori provincial Investigation, Gugark and Ijevan police divisions,  the supposed murderer was soon identified – Aram S., DOB 1977. The latter had stabbed Mher Grigoryan to death in the victim’s own car.
Aram S. pleaded guilty and is now arrested.
Special measures are underway to detect and seize the knife – crime instrument.  
Preliminary investigation is underway.
