Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (January 31-February 1)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 34 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 31 to February 1.
In particular, 9 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of fraud and infliction of bodily injuries, 3 cases of detection of drugs and battery, 2 cases of death threats and burglary, 1 case of abduction, squandering or embezzlement, extortion, tax evasion, abuse of official authority, the acquisition of property, knowingly obtained by crime.
5 wanted person have been detected, 3 others surrendered themselves to the Police. 3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of theft of personal property have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 8 accidents have been registered in the republic: 9 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
