According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 65 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 2 to March 3, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 20 cases of fraud, 17 cases of personal theft, 7 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of illegal felling of trees, 2 cases of kidnapping, domestic violence and forgery of documents, 1 case of robbery, burglary, extortion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, excess of official powers, official forgery or official negligence, causing property damage through negligence, threats of murder, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death, and participation in a group that is a carrier of a criminal subculture, or involvement in it.
1 missing person has been located, 3 wanted persons have been detained, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police.
5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 12 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 18 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
