Crime news report for the period from 5 to 8 November
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 177 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 5 to 8 November, 8 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 46 cases of personal theft, 25 cases of drug detection, 15 cases of causing bodily harm and carrying cold weapons, 13 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 12 cases of fraud, 6 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of illegal felling of trees, grave insult, threats of murder and smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, 2 cases of theft of state or public property, tax evasion, abuse of office and battery, 1 case of murder, squandering or embezzlement, intentional damage to property, car theft, cybercrime, official forgery or official negligence, violence against a representative of authorities, torture, Illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic (psychoactive) substances and precursors thereof for the purpose of sale or the illegal sale thereof, forgery of documents, destroying or damaging historical and cultural monuments and malicious evasion by a parent from supporting a child.
3 missing persons have been located, 27 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 8 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 14 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 5 persons died, 60 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
