Crime news report for the period from 8 to 9 December
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 54 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 8 to 9 December, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 13 cases of personal theft, 7 cases of causing bodily harm, 6 cases of fraud and drug detection, 3 cases of domestic violence, 2 cases of robbery and deliberate failure to comply with an urgent intervention or protection decision, 1 case of bodily injury resulting in death of a person, illegal or false entrepreneurial activity, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, illegal felling of trees, abuse of office, voting more than once or for another person, bribing voters, death threats.
4 wanted persons have been detained, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of personal theft, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 11 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 4 persons died, 13 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
