According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 65 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from February 9 to February 10, 6 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 17 cases of personal theft, 13 cases of causing bodily harm, 8 cases of fraud, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement and detection of drugs, 2 cases of burglary, abuse of office and illegal crossing of the state border, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, robbery, theft of state or public property, deliberate damage to property, forgery of documents, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, domestic violence, and participation in or involvement in a criminal community.
8 wanted persons have been detained, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police.
6 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of burglary and 1 case of murder and causing bodily injuries have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 21 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 33 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
