Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 16 – June 18)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 90 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 16 to June 18.
In particular, 22 cases of swindling, 19 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 13 cases of theft of personal property, 10 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 5 cases of bribery, 4 cases of detection of narcotics, 4 cases of abuse of official power, 3 cases of seizure of arms and ammunition, 3 cases of hooliganism, 2 cases of destruction of property, 1 case of car theft and 1 case of illegal logging.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of personal property, 1 case of robbery and 1 case of swindling have have been detected, 22 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 22 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic 1 person died, 37 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
