Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 19-20)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 56 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 19 to March 20.
In particular, 24 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 12 cases of infliction of bodily injury, 9 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of detection of narcotics, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition, 1 case of counterfeiting, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of abuse of official powers, 1 case of residential burglary and 1 case of official forgery or official negligence.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition were registered, in total 2 weapons were surrendered.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of theft of personal property and 2 cases of robbery have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 8 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 1 person died, 12 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
