According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 101 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 17 to May 20, 9 of which were previously committed crimes.
In particular, 23 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 22 cases of personal theft, 8 cases of fraud, 7 cases of battery, 4 cases of detection of drugs, 3 cases of burglary and disorderly conduct, 2 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, seizure of weapons and ammunition and trafficking in drugs, 1 case of abduction, robbery, banditry, extortion, tax evasion, intentional damage to property, counterfeiting, illegal felling of trees, bribery, abuse of office, infliction of damage to property, illegal crossing of the state border, committing sexual assault, obstructing justice, threat to murder, prompting prostitution and distributing pornographic materials or objects.
3 wanted persons have been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police, 3 missing persons have been found, 5 cases of surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of personal theft, 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries, robbery and RTA have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 47 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 67 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
