Crime news report for the period from 18 to 21 June
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 264 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 18 June 21, 10 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 97 cases of voting more than once or instead of another person, 31 cases of causing bodily injuries, 28 cases related to the election campaign, 21 cases of violation of the secrecy of voting, 12 cases of obstruction of the exercise of suffrage or the work of election commissions or the exercise of powers of persons participating in elections, 11 cases of personal theft, 7 cases of fraud, 6 cases of voter bribery, bribery, violation of the prohibition on charity during elections or obstruction of the free expression of the voter's will and the use of violence or threat of violence at the polling station or in the adjacent territory, 4 cases of hooliganism, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement, intentional damage to property and domestic violence, 2 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, official forgery or official negligence, violation of suffrage, threats of murder and obstruction of voting on the right or work of election commissions or the exercise of powers of persons participating in elections and violation of the secrecy of the vote, 1 case of cybercrime, drug detection, abuse of office, violence against a representative of authorities, threat of destruction of property, violation of rules for the protection and use of subsoil, illegal collection, storing, using or disseminating information about private or family life, preventing an authorized representative, member of the election commission, observer or media representative from acquaintance with election documents, failure to provide a copy of the protocols of the election commission, coercion to campaign or to refuse campaigning, bribing voters, making fake ballots or envelopes for voting, stamps, coupons, or the transmission or sale of knowingly counterfeit ballots or envelopes, stamps, coupons and violation of the secrecy of voting.
2 missing persons have been located, 6 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 8 cases personal theft and 1 case of theft of state or public property have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 33 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 71 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
