Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (19.05.2017-22.05.2017)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 26 out of 29 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the republic from May 19 to May 22, as well as 23 cases of theft, 8 cases of swindling, 3 cases of bribery, 1 case of extortion, 1 case of tax evasion, 1 case of smuggling, 1 case of counterfeiting and 1 case of illegal felling of trees have been solved.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injruies, 1 case of theft and 1 case of squandering have ben detected.
Over the past 3 days, 21 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 38 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
