Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 22-23)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 56 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 22 to March 23.
In particular, 13 cases of theft of personal property, 12 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 10 cases of swindling, 8 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 3 cases of hooliganism, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of theft of state property, 1 case of counterfeiting, 1 case of residentional burglary, 1 case of detection of narcotics and 1 case of illegal felling of trees.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition were registered.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of theft of personal property, 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries and 1 case of residential burglary have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 12 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 15 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
