According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 123 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from September 28 to September 29, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 17 cases of fraud and drug detection, 15 cases of carrying cold weapons, 14 cases of personal theft, 11 cases of smuggling of psychotropic substances containing drugs, 7 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 5 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of abuse of office, squandering or embezzlement, illegal felling of trees and inflicting grave insult, 1 case of attempted murder, robbery, burglary, intentional destruction of property, hooliganism, bribery, official forgery or official negligence, violence against a representative of authorities, illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, malicious evasion by a parent from maintaining a child, obstructing a meeting between a child and a parent or another close relative, threats of murder, battery, sale and purchase of foreign currency without a license, causing severe physical pain or severe mental suffering, forgery, sale or use of documents, stamps, seals, forms, vehicle registration numbers.
3 missing persons have been located, 8 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases personal theft, 1 case of attempted murder, arbitrariness, causing bodily injuries and a running-down accident have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 10 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 13 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
