According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 71 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 4 to March 5, 9 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 12 cases of personal theft, 9 cases of burglary, 8 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 7 cases of fraud, 4 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, 3 cases of illegal felling of trees, 2 cases of kidnapping, drug detection and threat to murder, 1 case of theft of state or public property, seizure of arms and ammunition, hooliganism, procuring, abuse of authority, official forgery of official negligence, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, sexual intercourse with a minor, drug smuggling, forgery of documents and illegal collecting and dissemination of information pertaining to personal life.
8 wanted persons have been found, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of personal theft and 1 case of murder have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 14 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 19 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
