According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 64 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 13 to 14 December, 6 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 9 cases of fraud, 8 cases of personal theft, 6 cases of drug detection, 5 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition and domestic violence, 4 cases of causing bodily harm and squandering or embezzlement, 3 cases of abuse of office, 2 cases of intentional damage to property and cybercrime , 1 case of murder, rape or attempted rape, burglary, car theft, sale or smuggling of drugs, illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation, or carrying of
weapons, ammunition, explosive substances or explosive devices, destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments, grave insult, causing property damage by deception or abuse of confidence, illegal deprivation of liberty.
9 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes, 5 cases of personal theft, 1 case of causing bodily injuries have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 15 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 31 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
