According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 129 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 26 to July 29, 8 of which were a previously committed crime.
In particular, 37 cases of causing bodily harm, 22 cases of personal theft, 11 cases of fraud, 8 cases of battery, 7 cases of death threats, 6 cases of drug detection, 5 cases of seeding or growing plants containing narcotic drugs that are prohibited for cultivation, 4 cases of abuse of office, 2 cases of intentional damage to property, burglary, misappropriation or embezzlement, cybercrime, disorderly conduct, robbery, 0. Failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, 1 case of poaching, destruction of property through negligence, illegal dissemination of information about private life, extortion, tax evasion, illegal felling of trees, bribery, theft of public or state property, committing indecent acts, seizure weapons and ammunition, use of violence against a representative of the authorities, intentional damage to property, uninterrupted seizure of the state land or the non-elimination of the consequences of such an action, as well as the continuation of the construction of unauthorized buildings and illegal structures, trafficking in drugs, and violations of labor protection rules.
8 wanted persons have been detected, 4 others turned themselves in to the Police, 2 missing persons have been found, 1 case f voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of personal theft, 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries, burglary, intentional damage to property and robbery have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 53 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 4 persons died, 64 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
