Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 9 – June 11)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 86 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 9 to June 11.
In particular, 28 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 20 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of hooliganism, 13 cases of swindling, 7 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 6 cases of detection of narcotics, 4 cases of abuse of official poвer, 3 cases of kidnapping, 1 case of banditry, 1 case of burglarы, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of poaching and 1 case of bribery.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries, 1 case of theft of personal property and 1 case of car theft have have been detected, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 3 days, 23 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 2 persons died, 35 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
