Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (April 12-13)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 45 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 12 to April 13.
In particular, 13 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 9 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of swindling, 4 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 2 cases of detection of narcotics, 2 cases of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of banditry, 1 case of illegal or false entrepreneurial activity, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of trafficking in persons and their sexual exploitation, 1 case of bribery and 1 case of violence against a representative of authorities.
5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition were registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of robbery have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 9 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 10 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
