Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (May 22-23)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 30 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 22 to May 22.
In particular, 10 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 7 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of swindling, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlment, 1 case of murder, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of intentional destruction of property, 1 case of tax evasion, 1 case of hooliganism and 1 case of bribery.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries has been solved, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 11 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 14 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
