Visit of RA Police Delegation to USA (VIDEO)

The delegation of Armenian Police, led by Deputy Head of Police Tigran Yesayan, made a working visit to Kansas, USA from January 25 to February 9 at the invitation of the American side.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the curriculum of the Hutchinson Law Enforcement Training Academy and the Kansas City Police Departments and County Sheriff's Office activity within the framework of Armenian Police Reforms.
During the Armenian Police delegation’s meeting with the leadership and staff of the Hutchinson Academy of Law Enforcement Training, the peculiarities of teaching methods and programs were discussed, especially in terms of training of patrol police officers.
Meetings were also held with the Wichita and Hutchinson Police Department, as well as the Sheriff and his deputies. Issues related to the organization of the work of the subdivisions, legal regulations of activities were discussed.
During the meeting with the International Affairs Coordinator of the National Guard, the peculiarities of the interaction between the Guards and the Police units were discussed.
The Armenian Police delegation also visited Hutchinson Prison, 911 Operations Management Center, Forensic Laboratory, firearms simulator of S.W.A.T. special detachments and firing squad. Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meetings.
During the visit, the Armenian Police delegation received and examined various types of documents and materials that could be used for the establishment of a police patrol service and Operations Management Center.
