According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 68 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 7 to 8 October, 1 of which was an earlier committed crime.
In particular, 12 cases of abuse of office, 9 cases of personal theft, 6 cases of fraud, 4 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition and threats of murder, 2 cases of attempted murder, squandering or embezzlement, cybercrime, official forgery or official negligence, grievous insult, exceeding authority, forgery of documents, battery, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, illegal felling of trees, bribery, smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, sexual violence, illegal traffic for the purpose of selling or manufacturing or illegal traffic narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, sexual intercourse or committing acts of sexual nature with a minor, violation of the inviolability of an apartment and usury.
9 wanted persons have been detained, 11 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of personal theft has been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 9 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 13 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
