According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 58 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 16 to 17 November, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 19 cases of personal theft, 8 cases of fraud, 4 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition and threats of murder, 2 cases of burglary and drug detection, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, squandering or embezzlement, extortion, willful destruction of property, abuse of office, gross insult or usurpation of power.
6 wanted persons have been detained, 12 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of personal theft, 1 case of causing bodily injuries, burglary and intentional destruction of property have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 10 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 11 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
