Crime news report for the period from 22 to 25 January, 2021
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 101 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 22 to January 25, 14 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 28 cases of personal theft, 14 cases of causing bodily harm, 9 cases of domestic violence, 8 cases of detection of narcotic drugs, 7 cases of fraud, 5 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of hooliganism and abuse of office, 1 case of kidnapping, theft of state or public property, extortion, tax evasion, deliberate damage to property, bribery, sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16 years, purchase of a child for the purpose of custody of him or sale of a child in order to transfer him to the person who took custody of the child, and committing lecherous acts.
1 missing person has been located, 14 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 7 cases of personal theft, 3 cases of causing bodily injuries, 1 case of attempted murder, banditry, burglary and burglary have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 33 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 6 persons died, 51 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
