According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 90 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 24 to August 25, 3 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 41 cases of personal theft, 2 cases of fraud, 8 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 6 cases of causing bodily harm, 4 cases of drug detection, 3 cases of domestic violence, 2 cases each squandering or embezzlement, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, 1 case of attempted murder, robbery, tax evasion, cybercrime, hooliganism, bribery, abuse of office, malicious evasion by a parent from maintaining his/her child.
5 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of personal theft, 1 case of illegal tree felling have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 10 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 33 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
