Crime news report for the period from 24 to 27 September
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 134 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from September 24 to September 27, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 26 cases of personal theft, 20 cases of fraud, 15 cases of causing bodily harm, 13 cases of drug detection, 10 cases of burglary, 5 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of death threats, 3 cases of forgery of documents, 2 cases of theft of state or public property, squandering or embezzlement, hooliganism, seizure of weapons and ammunition, illegal felling of trees, bribery, abuse of office, obstruction of a visit between a child and a parent or other close relative, 1 case of murder, car theft, violence against a representative of authorities, illegal crossing of state borders, the non-stop of the unauthorized seizure of land plots that are state or communal property, the failure to eliminate its consequences, as well as the non-stop of the unauthorized construction of buildings, structures and the non-liquidation of illegal structures, Failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, illegal separation of the child from the parents or substitution of the child, grievous abuse, drug trafficking, battery, illegal carrying of weapons, and illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic.
2 missing persons have been located, 11 wanted persons have been detained, 13 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases of personal theft, 2 cases of burglary, 1 case of running-down accident and a road-traffic accident have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 34 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 47 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
