Crime news report from 25 to 28 June
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 134 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 25 June 28, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 31 cases of personal theft, 29 cases of causing bodily harm, 15 cases of fraud, 11 cases related to elections, 4 cases of burglary and drug detection, 3 cases of abuse of office and seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of robbery, theft of state or public property, hooliganism, illegal felling of trees, bribery of voters, bribery, violation of the prohibition on charity during elections or obstruction of the exercise of the voter's free will, 1 case of violence against a representative of authorities, domestic violence, torture, illegal possession of ammunition, forgery of documents, falsification of election or voting results, obstruction of the professional activities of a journalist, the cultivation of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances.
4 missing persons have been located, 4 wanted persons have been detained, 12 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes, 3 cases of causing bodily injuries, 2 cases of personal theft, 1 case of burglary and hooliganism have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 48 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 80 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
