According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 79 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 30 to August 31, 6 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 28 cases of personal theft, 10 cases of fraud, 7 cases of causing bodily harm, 5 cases of drug detection, 3 cases of battery, illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 2 cases of arbitrariness, 1 case of attempted murder, burglary, squandering or embezzlement, extortion, intentional damage to property, hooliganism, abuse of office, incitement to murder, official forgery or official negligence, threats of murder, violation of labor protection rules, illegal circulation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors, providing deliberately false information in declarations or concealing property subject to declaration, deliberate failure to comply with a decision on urgent intervention or a decision to protect and unlawful imprisonment.
2 missing persons have been located, 4 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 17 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 30 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
