According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 29 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 1 to April 2, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 9 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of causing bodily harm and fraud, 2 cases of battery, 1 case of misappropriation or embezzlement, official forgery or official negligence, intentional destruction of property, illegal tree felling, bribery, abuse of authority, forgery of documents and threat to murder.
2 wanted person has been found, 2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have bee registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of theft of personal property and 1 case of banditry have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 3 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
