New speedometers to be exploited on highways of interstate significance from May 26, 2014
Traffic Police of the Republic of Armenia would like to inform You that speedometer installation works on highways of interstate significance are underway.
In particular, from May 26, 2014 speedometers recently located on the following road sections will be exploited:
1. 300.2 km of M-2 ("Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris-Meghri-border of Islamic Republic of Iran") highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Kapan town) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
2. 16.5 km of M-4 ("Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Meghri-border of the Republic of Azerbaijan") highway of interstate significance – 1 speedometer, direction: Yerevan-Sevan, the speed limit on this road section is 90 kph;
3. 40.55 km of M-4 («Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Meghri-border of the Republic of Azerbaijan”) highway of interstate significance – 1 speedometer, direction: Yerevan-Sevan, the speed limit on this road section is 90 kph;
4. 59.75 km of M-10 ("Sevan-Martuni-Getap") highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Lichq village) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
5. 37.1 km of M-11 ("Martuni-Vardenis-border of the Republic of Azerbaijan") highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Vardenis town) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
6. Yerevanyan highway, Gyumri town, Shirak marz, – 1 double-faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
7. Teryan street, Gyumri town, Shirak marz, – 1 double-faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
Traffic Police once again urge drivers to keep the traffic rules.
