RA Deputy Police Chief Receives Delegation of European Union (VIDEO)
On Tuesday, February 11, Deputy Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police Colonel Tigran Yesayan received the delegation of the European Union led by Kęstutis Lančinskas.
The purpose of the delegation's visit was to carry out an additional expert study within the framework of the European Union's TAIEX program to conduct the preliminary evaluation of the legal framework of Police activities, the institutional structure and the needs of the ongoing reforms of the Armenian Police.
Welcoming the guests, Tigran Yesayan attached importance to the high level of cooperation established with the European Union and expressed hope that the cooperation would be further strengthened and developed.
The parties emphasized that in the context of countering modern challenges, exchange of experience is important especially in the spheres of reforming the Police system, education, public order maintenance and etc.
During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
