Vahe Ghazaryan receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia

On Friday, February 5, Head of Police Vahe Ghazaryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Nico Schermers.
Welcoming the guest, Vahe Ghazaryan highly assessed the cooperation between the law enforcement structures of Armenia and the Netherlands. The Head of Police expressed readiness to bring the cooperation to a higher level.
Deputy Head of Police Ara Fidanyan presented the ongoing reforms in the police, speaking about the formation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Patrol service.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Nico Schermers expressed readiness to support the deepening of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, which will be aimed at strengthening the rule of law and combating crime.
Issues of cooperation between the Armenian Police and Europol, as well as other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
